Welcome Professor Show Pau Loke as Editor‑in‑Chief of IEES

Cultech Publishing is delighted to announce and warmly welcome Professor Show Pau Loke, as the Editor‑in‑Chief of Innovative Environmental Engineering Solutions (IEES, E‑ISSN: 3122‑7384).

IEES is an international, peer‑reviewed, open‑access journal dedicated to publishing cutting‑edge research and innovative engineering solutions that address the world‘s pressing environmental challenges. With a focus on sustainability, climate resilience, and technological advancement, IEES aims to serve as a platform for scholars, engineers, and policymakers to share knowledge and drive meaningful change.

We are honoured to have Professor Show join us in this leadership role. With an outstanding academic background and extensive experience in biochemical engineering, microalgae biorefinery engineering, separation and purification technology, sustainable food processing and circular bioeconomy, Professor Show has made significant contributions to the field through groundbreaking research, numerous high‑impact publications, and a steadfast commitment to environmental sustainability. Currently serving as Director of the Center of Excellence for Research, Value Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CERVIE) at UCSI University, Malaysia, Professor Show brings not only exceptional scholarly expertise but also proven editorial leadership and a clear vision for advancing the journal’s mission.

Professor Show is a distinguished global scholar and chartered professional engineer. He has authored/co‑authored close to 500 SCI top‑tier international journal publications, with over 65000 citations and an h‑index of 130 (Google Scholar, Aug 2026). He has supervised more than 45 PhD and MSc students and served as principal investigator for over 35 international, national and industry‑funded projects. 

He possesses comprehensive editorial experience, having held positions of Editor‑in‑Chief, Co‑Editor‑in‑Chief, Associate Editor and lead guest editor for multiple international journals. Recognised as a Top 1 % Global Peer Reviewer across multiple disciplines by Publons, he has handled more than 3,000 manuscripts for various journals. 

We are confident that under Professor Show’s leadership, IEES will continue to grow in academic rigour, international influence, and practical relevance.
